Limitations of Centralized Infrastructure

There are several limitations to centralized infrastructure:

  • Vulnerability to outage
  • Lack of grid flexibility
  • Transmission losses

Using micro gas turbine powered distributed energy it will be possible to conveniently shift the energy infrastructure from centralized to distributed. Thus, it will be possible to establish independent local micro-grids in:

  • Residential areas
  • Industrial complexes
  • Agriculture communities
